Our Story

About us

The idea came to me after we lost our dear Budge, our beautiful yellow budgerigar at the age of 17. I looked around the house for something suitable to bury him in the garden and could not find anything that would make his little funeral dignified. That’s when it hit me, what if there was a product that parents or guardians could purchase, that makes the loss of a pet, especially for young children, easier to cope with. The loss of a small family pet is usually the first time that a young child will experience death, and is an important part of early life as it prepares children for the loss of a human loved one as they grow.

It had to be something that was biodegradable and natural, and so I chose brown card, as it is the most environmentally friendly way, better than Tupperware or a plastic bag ! it can easily be assembled and decorated by children in whatever manner they choose, a fitting way to take part in a service for your small feathered, or furry, loved one. Our coffins are designed for budgies, hamster/mice, gerbils in fact any small animal, even fish !

we even have a mini coffin for spiders, snails and small aquarium fish.

Our History
I came up with the idea of coffins for small animals after having to bury our dear budgerigar and struggling to find something suitable, this is the perfect solution for parents of young children who are having to deal with the death of a loved small pet
